• Blending Mode: These modes help blend different layers to make them look better. Some modes are, Luminosity, Overlay, Multiply, and Darken. Very commonly used.

• Split: Splitting a clip allows you to cut the clip up any way you want. Giving you the ability to control where it starts, ends, or delete a certain part
• Time Remapping: Time Remapping allows you to expand, compress, freeze, or even play footage backwards
• 3D Layers: When you make a layer a 3D Layer, it remains flat. But when you do it gains other properties such as the X, Y, and Z Axis. And you will be able to move them anywhere you want in 3D space

• Composition: the plan, placement or arrangement of the elements of art in a work
• Timeline: A timeline is a graphical depiction of audio and video tracks. Much of the editing that takes place is done within this graphical timeline
• Keyframe: defines the starting and ending points of any smooth transition
